The client, in conjunction with Centra Security Special Projects Division upgraded the site using Mifare Smart Card Access Control Technology and CCTV over IP. Main reception access is now only by authorised personnel under close CCTV surveillance. This has now increased the level of security to the main entrance so security can now afford to spend more time dealing with visitor enquires rather than ‘watching’ over their shoulders at who’s entering the building.

• Hands-free, no-contact operation


• User-friendly with high flow-capacities


• Passage in both directions, electronically controlled


• Normally open (N/O) or Normally closed (N/C) mode


• Sophisticated sensors detect unauthorised entry or tail gating


• Status lights (LED display) within lid top face


• Compatible with most card-reader systems, code or biometrics devices
