Integrated Offline Access Control

While most access control systems rely on a central computer or remote access control panel to make decision, the B.A.S.I.S.® ET650 offline locks have their own cardholder database and built-in intelligence to make decisions at the door instead of having to communicate with an external source.
While an offline lock cannot provide real-time monitoring capabilities or be updated instantly, it does provide most of the benefits of a hard-wired access control system at a fraction of the cost. Programmable through either a PDA or laptop computer, the offline lock benefits include the assignment of specific access rights to specific dates and times, and full history event reporting.
